Several security exploits were discovered or reported in Google’s Chrome web browser, specifically for Windows machines. The Stable channel update (103.0.5060.114) addresses flaws that would allow remote attackers to take control of a system through Javascript, memory buffer, or memory allocation vulnerabilities. Only one of the highlighted security issues seems to have been actively exploited openly, but CVE-2022-2294, as it’s known, could lead to a lot of damage or other problems....

The Nexus Player has been available in the US from 3 November, and is making its way to the UK this week. With the Pixel Slate we need to ask if it is good at what it’s designed to do. Unfortunately the answer is no, and that’s partly because we aren’t sure what it was designed to do in the first place. The Pixel Slate is a Chrome OS tablet that can also run any Android app. It’s buggy, too expensive, and a curious product given Google also sells the superior Pixelbook – a less confusing, if pricier, alternative....

2020 is going to be Google Stadia’s big year, the company has revealed. While the limited release in 2019 was nothing to be disappointed in, 2020 will show Google’s determination to remain a competitive gaming platform. Google announced via press release that in 2020 over 120 games are going to be brought to the Stadia service. Of those 120 games, at least 10 will be exclusives to the platform. And better yet, those 10 games will all launch in the first half of 2020....

State Representative Williams is running for Congress in El Paso County, Colorado, and would like to have his nickname on the ballot. “Let’s Go Brandon” has gained popularity amongst conservatives as an anti-Biden slogan. Williams filed a lawsuit against Colorado Secretary of State Jena Griswold claiming the Democrat would not add the phrase to his name on the ballot, despite it being his nickname. Griswold denied the request calling the phrase a slogan, not a nickname....
